Barb’s BIO

I think it’s only fair that I give you a little glimpse of who I really am before we begin this journey together. (Weight Loss Challenge) Whether you are joining in and making this quality of life change with us, or just supporing us from a far.

Name: Barbara or Barb (I will leave the last name to guess to protect the innocent – family that is)

Female: thus the name “Barbara”

Age: It’s Relative – I am a see the glass half full kinda girl! Not a spring chicken, but not an old hen either – consider myself seasoned to perfection.

Live: Very much alive in Beautiful San Antonio TX – If you haven’t been here you gotta come…..the River Walk is beautiful and plenty of fun! Six Flags, Natural Caverns, Sea World, (Ladies) Mega Outlet Shopping Mall in San Marcus and more.

Height: Feet touch the ground perfectly when I walk

Weight: I would like to get down to a Christy Brinkley or maybe a Sandra Bullock! But then my German stock body was probably not like that when I was 12. So I will settle for a 40-45 lb loss.

Eye and Hair Color: At Birth Brown/Brown. I admit my hair is like a camelon’s – it changes with my mood.

Outran the Big “C” (cancer) twice, so I have a full appreciation for life. One year of Chemo will give you that and the battle scars to prove it.

Good sense of humor and I use it wisely – “Did I happen to mention that the picture they took of my quickie breakfest was a suicidal donut that jumped out in front of me……I had to sacrifice myself on it’s behalf.

I am a true Red, White and Blue American. I can’t help but cry everytime I hear the Star Spangled Banner.

I love and adore my husband, family and friends.

Love music, art, football (Go Broncos) movies from the “I’ll be back – Action to Nemo’s - far out dude”, and sprinkled with any Great Chick Flick of course.

I am a good listner, but better talker. I love to laugh – you gotta catch John Dun-HAAM! It is full of giggles and grins.

I play at golf. However the only thing I have in common with Tiger is the “woods”, where my ball naturally goes. If theres a tree, I can find it.

I have been acused of being creative, sentimental, stubborn and too hard on myself. I would admit to most of these.

If I could have three wishes, I’d ask the Genie for:

Bill Gates Money, Jenniffer Aniston’s body………………… and of course - World Peace!

I am much deepr than this - but I have to keep a few secrets, after all, my employees past and present are reading this.
